South Cape Bay
Today we decided to go all the way down South, towards Cockle Creek. Usually done as a 2 day walk, or as the last segment of the Melaleuka multi-day walk, we decided to get up nice and early and get it done in one day because who wants to pack up a tent again, right? This was an easy but rewarding walk, with majestic display of water crashing into rugged cliffs.
Styx Valley, Lake Gordon, Mt Wedge
The plan was to head for Lake Gordon with a tent, and see where we end up. So we went for a few walks around the Styx Valley region, camped next to Lake Pedder, and climbed Mt Wedge before returning home. We will be coming back for more walks around Florentine Valley.
